Best Place to find French Fries

French Fries

Here is a list of my favorite top 10 places to get great french-fries

10. Arby’s (Good curly fries are hard to find)
9. White Horse (A local place in Rock Hill, SC. Good steak fries)
8. Zaxby’s (I don’t know if the fries are great by themselves, but when you add ranch dipping sauce, you’ve got a winner!)
7. Checkers (Loaded, a great pair with cheap hamburgers)
6. Jack in the Box (You know a place values their fries when they give you a choice between curly and seasoned)
5. Red Robin (Free fry refills, what more could one ask for?)
4. Fiske Fries (Only found at the state fair, spray a little malt vinegar on those bad boys, and you have a winner)
3. Outback (Not a better appetizer can be found anywhere)
2. Sticky Fingers (I don’t know what they put on their fries, but whatever it is, it makes them sweet, and I like that)
1. In-N-Out Burger (My #1 choice, fries that are cut fresh, and rolled after fried to remove the grease. Oh how I wish In-N-Out burger was somewhere out east…maybe one day)

Unusual Faith

My daughter, Dahson, saw a commercial on the cartoon channel today. It had a girl playing in outer space. Dahson looked at me and said, “Daddy, I want to bounce on the moon and slide on the planets! I can do that when I grow up?” I smiled, and said, “Absolutely baby.” She went on about her 4 year old business, thinking nothing of it.

It challenged me. It challenged my faith. Why can’t I have faith like that? Why can’t I believe that it is possible to do the impossible? We have been taught that though Christ anything is possible, but our eyes and situations have challenged that process. We only believe as far as we can see. We only dream as big as we perceive is possible, at least to some degree. So how do we enlarge our thinking, our dreams, our faith? I think we do it by listening to children, because they understand that with Christ everything is possible.

I want to bounce on the moon and slide on the planets too! Thanks Dahson.

Faith, Fear, Failure, & French Fries

Today, I started my summer journey. I’m sure that it will take longer than just the summer, but it will give me a little something extra to do in the meantime. And besides, its one of my life ambitions. Are you ready? Here is the big news….here it come….drum roll please.

*jfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjfjffjfjjfjfjfjfj (That’s my drum roll)

The past couple of years, I have been wanting to write a book. Yep! A Book. I’m not sure what made me want to pursue this passion, but I think the time has now come. Up until just a few weeks ago I knew that I wanted to write a book, I just didn’t know which direction to head. So after some praying, and a little big of thought, I’ve found my direction. It might change halfway through, or it might not. But nonetheless, I’m going for it. So follow me through the lines and pages of a book about Faith, Fear, Failure, & French Fries. The F Words.
